Note: The bit in italics is the required opening. I don't know, for some reason this fic turned out rather silly...just read it!
Inu Yasha stomped back towards the well. Kagome and himself had fought over how long she would stay in her time- and of course, she'd won again, telling him to SIT!
"Damn her! Why do I always have to look like the bad guy?! I just want to get this damn quest over with!" Inu Yasha muttered, slipping inside the well.
"Inu Yasha!!!" Kagome's cry alerted him.
"Eh?" He popped his head back up to see Kagome standing in the shrine's doorway.
"I'm sorry... I didn't mean to hurt your feelings." Kagome sighed. "I just have this huge test tommorrow and-"
"Feh. I don't care. You don't want me around? Fine! I'll just go then." Inu Yasha snorted, going back to the well.
"Wait!!" Kagome said, reaching for him.
"What?" He looked irritated.
"I.... What's that?" Kagome pointed past him, towards the wall. Inu Yasha looked to where she had pointed.
"What in the seven hells??" He gasped, backing away.
"It looks like a.... portal.. I think." Kagome carefully walked over to a semi-large rainbow colored hole that was plastered to the wall. The portal tremored when Kagome touched it. Suddenly-
"KYAAA!!" Kagome shouted, as the portal sucked her in.
"KAGOME!" Inu Yasha jumped forward, and grabbed her thighs. Both blushed at the awkward position, and the portal took the chance to suck them both inside.
When Kagome came to, she found she was lying across Inu-Yasha. Blushing, she quickly moved off him, only to realise he was already awake and had been (probably) peeking up her skirt. She blushed even more.
"Um, hi," she mumbled. She got up and looked around.
"Hi," he grinned, evidently enjoying her embarrassment.
"Where do you think we are?" she asked, disturbed by the grassy fields, the bright sun, the chirping of birds. It was in fact, quite sickening. Besides her, Inu-Yasha shuddered.
"Hey, can you hear that?" Inu-Yasha touched her arm.
"What?" Kagome was so distracted by the feel of his touch that she did not even hear him say anything.
"That noise," he explained. "It's coming this way." He gestured for her to follow him, and they hid behind a tree.
Kagome strained her ears, trying to find the 'noise' he was talking about. It was very faint but she could hear it now. It sounded like...
Singing.
Inu-Yasha was getting paler and paler. He grabbed Kagome's hand and pulled her along as he leapt off. "Come on, let's go!"
"Why?" Kagome asked, preferring to settle herself on his back, rather then being dragged along.
"That noise...it's evil."
"So why can't we just go and kill whatever is making that noise? There might be Shikon jewel here!"
Suddenly, Inu-Yasha stopped. He looked around, as if he was trying to detect the source of the noise. To his horror, it seemed to be coming from every direction. They were surrounded!
"Inu-Yasha, what are we going to do?" Kagome asked, wanting to run, but her feet seemed to be stuck to the ground. She too could sense the evil aura enclosing them.
And with every second that passed, the noise got louder and louder...
"Tra la la la la la, la la la la la."
"ARGHHHH!!!!!!!!!!" Kagome screamed in fright. "What IS that?!!!"
Then all out of nowhere, little blue things emerged, singing their demonic songs. Inu-Yasha fell onto his knees. *I can't take this anymore* Kagome had her hands to her ears hoping to block the sounds out. *No! I don't want to die here!*
As if feeling their discomfort, the smurfs only sang louder. "Argh!!!!!!!!!!!!" Inu-Yasha screamed, a look of utter hatred and loathing on his face. He pulled the Tetsusaiga and swung it at the mass of blue things in front of him. "DIE, YOU DEMONS!" he yelled and wiped out at least half of the smurfs with just the one swing. The rest took one look at him and scampered off.
"Wow, Inu-Yasha, you really show them who was boss," Kagome said coyly. "You're my hero."
Suddenly, all the pieces of the smurfs began to float around, forming a swirl. "What's that?" Kagome asked Inu-Yasha, clinging onto him.
"What in the seven hells??" He gasped, backing away.
"It's the portal!" The portal tremored when Kagome touched it. Suddenly-
"KYAAA!!" Kagome shouted, as the portal sucked her in.
"KAGOME!" Inu Yasha jumped forward, and grabbed her thighs. Both blushed at the awkward position, and the portal took the chance to suck them both inside...
