A few things about me

I have been involved in Communications all my life. In that time I have worked in almost every field,  always on the technical side. Twenty five years ago I finally stopped working for a boss and started out on my own.

At that time I went through a divorce and was left with custody of four children, so I started a business from home, enabling me to work and raise the children at the same time. This worked well, and as my children grew up up I was able to move the business into commercial premises.

I like music, early Jazz, Blues, Swing, R&B, and Classical, plus fishing, camping, small boats, and general outdoor life.

My main sport these days is tenpin bowling, mainly league level, and some tournaments. I also play representative level in a Sydney based interdistrict competition every weekend.

I also played golf, and played locally in dart and snooker competitions, and while younger I played Rugby Union.

Rugby, both League and Union, and cricket are my main sports interests.

My children have all gone out into the world, so I have only myself to look after, at last! I can now be a proud grandfather and enjoy my grandchildren.

Just a little bit about where I live

I live in the Northern Beaches suburbs of Sydney, Australia. We are bounded by the Pacific Ocean, Pittwater, the Hawkesbury River, Kuringai Chase National Park, and Sydney Harbour.  The centre of the City is down on the southern side of the harbour.

Here are some local scenes.

Now some pictures from my daughter Michelle's wedding at
Lennox Head on the New South Wales North Coast

Proud father and bride-to-be

The wedding was held on the headland at Lennox Head, complete with local hang gliders hovering overhead.
At the last moment a strong wing sprung up, so the marquee was not erected.
