The Dinner Game
By Angela Khor

Pierre Brochant is a mean man. Every Wednesday, he and his friends have a dinner for idiots. Each friend must bring an idiot to the dinner and the evening is spent making fun of the "idiots" without them realising they are the entertainment.

One Wednesday evening, Pierre has a lot of bad luck. After injuring his back, Pierre is forced to cancel his dinner. While explaining this to François, his idiot, Pierre's wife announces that she is going to leave Pierre.

François is a kind man and he takes pity on Pierre. However, the "help" François gives Pierre quickly turns a bad situation worse!

"The Dinner Game" is a very funny film. The acting is good and the story is clever. I recommend this film and give it eight out of ten. "The Dinner Game" is available at most video shops.

Other French films showing are "Crimson Rivers" at the Kino cinema and "A ma Soeur" at the Lumière cinema.
