Arnaud Clement   By Bronwen Largier Arnaud Clement was born on the 17th day of December in 1977 in Aix-en Provence in France. He will be turning twenty-three this year. His current residence is Geneva in Switzerland. Arnaud Clement weighs 64.5 kilograms and is approximately 173 centimetres tall. He plays with his right hand; he only started playing professional tennis in 1996. Currently Clement is sitting at number 12 in the world. His highest ever position in the world is 10, he achieved this on the 2nd day of April this year. He has only one singles title to his name; he beat Pat Rafter at Lyon on an indoor carpet surface. It is said by some people that he plays a better game on a hard court and this has been proven in some cases such as when he beat Andre Aggassi 3-0 in the US Open last year. He doesn't play as well however on a clay court. At the moment he has won 100 matches of his career and lost 99. However this year he has won 19 matches, only losing 13 which is an improvement to his career statistics. Clement with his doubles partner Nicolas Escude (shown left with Clement) have managed on doubles title together and Clement is currently ranked 130 in the world for his doubles with Escude.
