Foot Note :- On the night of the 1881 census, Henry James, his wife Charlotte Chalis and their family were living at 19, Duke Street, Southwark, London. See attachment (A 007). At this time they were registered under the name Curnett. This could have been the result of the transcription work, which changed it from the census collector's handwritten entries into typeset. Then on the night of the 1901 census Henry, Charlotte and their youngest daughter Ada Elizabeth, were living at 23, Glenforth Street, Greenwich. See attachment (A 016).
