STRATEGIC OBJECTIVES

It is well known through multiple sources that the Gorn Hegemony have next to exhausted all of their natural resources. Years of civil war have also, contrary to logical thought, lead to a stagnation in research. Sources have also indicated numerous deals that have failed to be brokered, covering various technologies that the Hegemony lack.

It is therefore assumed that the Gorn Hegemony's strategic objectives are to acquire Resource rich regions of space, in order to replenish their current stores, and with which to cover purchases of technology that they currently lack.

These conclusions have not been verified by OSFI assets, though there is no evidence to point to a contrary opinion.

Current fronts in the Tholian/Gorn conflict are centered on systems which are the subject of previous unresolved disputes. It is not thought that the history of these conflicts have any bearing on the Hegemony's strategic objectives
