Every spring, Canberra puts on a spectacular show of blooms and other attractions along the shore of Lake Burley Griffin. We had a very pleasant day there, with a picnic lunch under a tree, a confrontation with a statue and a tricky infestation of gnomes. Here are some of the pictures we took.
