The Heritage River © Project

Name of Project

The full name of this project is called the Heritage River © - toonga gallery track project.

Overall Aims:  Description of Project

This community design and development process for tracks is to anticipate and augment Parramatta Council's core Bike-Plans, and is a discovery tour bridging 300 years of the natural and cultural landscape in Toongabbie:

  • as it was known, and tendered by traditional Toongagal (Darug) inhabitants
  • as it related to agricultural endeavours of the 3rd European Settlement (Stockade) in Aust, from 1791,
